"Turning Points," is an exhibition of large watercolor paintings and recent  photographs by Barbara Bell. This November, in the midst of national and local election turmoil, Bell turns her attention to significant and reassuring transitions in the natural world from one season to the next. Her paintings also include references to her family history that depict universal themes of shared cultural experience.  Most evident in the paintings and photographs is her effort to break new ground in her work as an artist, striving to create paintings and photographs that connect in a meaningful way with her viewers and provide a few moments of peace and calmness in their lives.
